Olena Ellis

Olena Ellis is a ceramic artist born and raised in Maine, USA. Her work is rooted in the feminine spirit, drawing on intuition, creativity, and nurturing as guiding forces in her practice. She earned her BFA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2018 and completed a residency at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts in Ojai, California the same year. Her work was featured in Ceramics Monthly in 2018 and 2026. 

Ellis has received numerous awards and scholarships, including an URSA award to attend a workshop with Sergei Isuprov at Ferrin Contemporary, published in the book Mosaic Art Today, and has work in a permanent public collection at the Fairbanks Mayor’s Office, Alaska.
