Author Bio

Natori Mason

Natori Mason is a multimedia artist originating from Long Island, New York, and now based in Knoxville, Tennessee. While they identify as a multimedia artist, they mainly work in clay, crochet, and quilting.

Much of Natori’s work is an extension of their identity and experience as a Black gender-nonconforming person. They are also heavily inspired by the natural world and more fantastical elements.

In their use of color, texture, and form, Natori creates engaging pieces that invite the viewer to step into another world full of curiosity and introspection.
